What does mindfulness mean to you? Recently we had the pleasure of talking with mindfulness expert, Shelley Brown. But Shelley isn’t your average mindfulness expert, stating, “mindfulness might not be what you think.”
Shelley was a national and regional sales professional for over 25 years, working in both the public and private sectors. She was jet-setting all around the country meeting with Fortune 500 C-suite Executives and was a top performer. She was also an athlete participating in 25 marathons, six ultra-marathons and countless half-marathons.
About 6 years ago, EVERYTHING changed. Shelley suffered a serious spinal injury that turned everything upside-down. She was in a constant state of anxiety. After she recovered and went back to work, she couldn’t shake it…UNTIL she learned the practice of mindfulness.
