"I was recently on The Divine Breadcrumb Podcast with Carol and Deb. I found them to be really engaging, down to earth, sharp, organized and really fun to be live with. They discuss a wide range of excellent topics and are definitely really worth tuning into as well as connecting with on social media. Thank you for having me as a guest on this amazing show!"

Today’s guest is wine and beer sommelier, Rob Statham. Rob hails from Canada and is the owner of The Drunken Grape, a company he founded in 2015 which aims to educate and spread awareness of wine, spirits, and beer.

What separates Rob from other experts is that, when he’s showcasing a wine or beer, he can tell you about it in the context of what was happening in history at the time it was being made. It’s a true education!

Before founding The Drunken Grape, Rob worked in entertainment and hospitality management on luxury cruise lines. Much of his time was spent initially as Cruise Staff for Norwegian Cruise lines and then as either an Art Auctioneer or Assistant Entertainment/Assistant Cruise Director. This experience helped Rob in his media presentations for beer, wine, and spirits and now Rob is working on video branding for Ontario wineries and breweries.

Join us as we talk with Rob about being a sommelier, women’s role in wine and beer production over the centuries, abundance mindset, the power of giving back, and of course, Rob’s wine and beer picks for summer 2020!
